was to qualify for the main event, and that’s exactly how Jason completed the task.
With Justin Brayton trailing, Anderson cruised to the main event with the “dub.”
With an opening lap of 1:07.788, Anderson looked to flow in fifth, with the top contenders of Tomac, Dungey, Musquin, and a surprising Phil Nicoletti. After four, Anderson trailed Baker’s Factory counterpart Marvin Musquin. He would set his fastest lap on lap eight, but still had a hefty gap both in front and behind, remaining obsolete until the number 94 began to shrink the margin in the closing period; though he wouldn’t falter and remained here. A pretty uneventful ride, but nonetheless what was needed to continue his championship con- tentions, he would ride off the infield with a fourth place result.
