the stories that have been created and told around the alessi camp have been abun-
dant and at times unforgettable. whether it was protesting, raw egg consumption, or
on track antics, the media and drama seemed to follow them everywhere they went.
However, over the past few years, it seems Mike has come into his own and really been gracious for what he has. The California resident has made that known every time he gets an appearance in the media.
If Mike could ever just relax and recapture the vibe he had during his amateur days, he could be a very serious threat. He seems to get excited once he takes the lead, and the fuel tank begins to subside after the open- ing moments.
With Daytona favoring more of an outdoor style course, Mike is definitely smirking at the hand he’s been
dealt this weekend, vying for a podium finish.
