Immediately in a transfer position off the start, rodriguez was in 6th place. He rode out the entire rest of the race in 6th place moving onto the main event. as the gate dropped for the 250 main event at Daytona, the traders
MX rider starts the race off in 14th right behind Frye. Lap 7 he was able to make his way into 13th in front of Coates. He falls back to 14th as the race continues. Rodriguez moves on through the race in 14th where he finishes off. Beating last weeks finish by a few places Rodriguez is getting the momentum going for the rest of the season.
