Jimmy albertson of Motorcycle Superstore has been having nothing but fun since joining
the team. even with a fractured foot the rider wasn’t going to let that hold him back from
having a good night in Daytona he had good practices and qualified into the show in 20th.
The heat race began and the Suzuki rider put himself near a transfer spot right away starting in 13th. Beginning a good battle with Cartwright he moves his way up to 10th. On the last lap McElrath was able to pass him leaving him in 11th sending him to the LCQ. He got the good started that was needed in the LCQ placing him 2nd. The race goes on with some chaos behind him but he maintains his position and finishes off in 2nd. Albertson gets off the gate in 15th in the 250 main event. He slowly fell back to 17th racing behind Bloss. He passes Coates on lap 8 putting him up one more position. The race begins to wind down and Albertson upholds his 16th place spot where he finishes off his main event.
