IMAGE / KILPATRICK WORDS / ARMSTRONG DESIGN / TILLS
>> You may have heard of Dylan Ferrandis before he made his debut in America this year. If not ill give you an idea of why he was sought after by YamaLube Yamaha. He was originally a Kawasaki rider racing in the MXGP series and he was one of the only riders that could match the speed of Jeffrey Herlings on a 250 in 2016. Dylan has made an impact immediately since his debut in America, at this rate he will be a title contender in 2018. Ferrandis DNFed the first motos of the year and Hangtown, since then he has finished inside of the top 10 in every single race except moto two in Tennessee. He has the most wins for Yamaha this year and is Yamahas highest ranked contender so far. After getting second overall at round 7 virtually matching Osborne on the day, it seemed like a good bet that Dylan was going to follow up that performance this weekend in Millville as the track conditions of similar. A crash on lap one hindered Dylans chances, as Dylan was sitting in 22nd after the opener. Just a lap later Dylan was inside of the top twenty with lap times significantly faster then half of the field ahead of him. By the time Dylan reached the midway point he was in 13th position and the gap to 12th was nearly 10 seconds. 3 laps remained and Dylan just reached the top 10 before finishing up in 7th. In race two @dylanferrandis was able to finish the first lap without any incidents. The #108 took tenth place from his teammate Harrison by lap two. Four laps after Dylan fell, picking himself up in 12th. At this point most of the racers where long gone from him and it took him the rest of the race to use his never give up attitude to finish a hard fought 8th.
