Ethan Mann battled back from a 5th place start, moving past Husqvarna riders, Larry
Reyes Jr. and Chandler Baker, respectively. Mann set the fastest lap of the moto after
he moved into 3rd place and had an open track in front of him, sending a message to
his competitors that he had the speed to run at the front of the field. The KTM rider did
exactly that in the second race as he exploded out of the gate and led the moto from
start to finish with cool, collected riding.
