At that point, he began to track down Branden Walther and was able to take advantage of a mistake to move into 2nd position on the fourth lap. Walther remounted in 3rd position, but he didn’t have the time to charge back up to 2nd place. Kaeden Amerine showed even more pace in the second race
as he pulled yet another holeshot and checked out at the front of the pack. This time around, he was able to put a sizeable gap into Walther as he set the fastest lap of the moto on the third time around the track. Walther held onto second position as he clocked incredibly consistent lap times in
one of his best rides of the entire weekend, eventually crossing the line 7.3 seconds behind the overall winner. Reyes Jr. got off to a decent start behind his Husqvarna teammate of Jack Walker, passing him for the final podium spot on the second lap; he pulled away corner by corner for the next couple laps and eventually rode to a comfortable 3rd place to wrap up the overall podium finish.
