OPEN PRO SPORT
The Open Pro Sport class produced some of the most intense racing of the entire weekend. Heath Harrison came out on top in both motos as he walked away with two 1st place finishes, but
it wasn’t quite as easy as the statistics make it seem. Curren Thurman put
in some stellar performances on his Husqvarna to score 4-2 finishes for 2nd overall just ahead of Ramyller Alves who went 3-3. Oklahoma native and stateside hero, Jimmy Albertson, scored 2-4 finishes on the day and left Ponca with a 4th overall finish. Harrison and Albertson both had their starts dialed throughout the weekend; the two of them started 1st and 3rd
in the opening moto and Albertson quickly worked his way around Johnny Marley on the opening lap to make it a battle for the lead.
