The 65cc 7-9 class had a mixture
of three different manufacturers up on the box when the bar banging was said and done. Jordan Renfro put his KTM on the top step of the podium after swapping moto wins with Team Green’s newest signing, Krystian Janik; Renfro took the tiebreaker by securing the second moto victory. Casey Cochran filled out the rostrum by putting his Cobra in 3rd place both motos, riding with pinpoint consistency throughout both races. Janik got the start he needed to lead the race from the first corner to the last in the opening moto, fighting off an early charge from Renfro and James Clough. Renfro was involved in a fierce battle for 2nd place with Clough, which allowed Janik to escape at the front of the field, but Renfro
was eventually able to secure the position as Clough made a mistake on the second lap and didn’t finish the race.
