Casey Cochran put his Cobra in the top 5 from the start of the moto and found himself in 4th position for the first couple of laps, shortly moving up to 3rd place as Clough dropped to the back of the pack. The second moto of the 65cc 7-9 class was the closest finish of the entire weekend as Renfro and Janik battled fender-to-fender for the overall victory. The KTM rider out of Florida started out front, but Team Green’s Janik quickly moved himself into 1st position on the second lap. The Illinois native was able to hold on to the position until the final lap, maintaining a gap of a couple tenths of a seconds throughout. Renfro put in a blinding lap on the ultimate opportunity to be able to nick the position from Janik by a mere 7 thousandths of a second at the finish line. Casey Cochran rounded out the podium by getting a good start out of the gate and riding consistent laps in 3rd position from start to finish.
