JUSTIN BRAYTON
BTO Sports KTM has to be more than happy with Justin Brayton’s performances this season. The veteran rider has enjoyed one of the best seasons of his career and in one of the deepest fields we have had in recent years. Holeshots have been the key to his success this year as he
has put the number ten machine in and around the front in nearly every main event this season.
Being up front so often helped him slowly get used to that pace and eventually quicken his lap times and better his finishes. We have seen Brayton fighting for podiums late in some races this year and he is always battling for heat race wins. This year’s been a nice resurgence for him after a dismal season last year in which he missed most of due to injury. We saw him go out and race to an impressive season best fifth place finish last weekend in East Rutherford leading a freight train of Jason Anderson and Marvin Musquin to the front and nearly catching Dungey at the end. His speed has been impressive and he has one more chance to showcase it this weekend at the finale in Las Vegas.
