MARTIN DAVALOS
Martin Davalos has had a roller coaster of a career thus far. With 11 years under his belt, he is still chasing a 250 Supercross championship. With 4 career wins and many podiums, he has been as close as anyone can be but unable to be obtain the number 1
plate. 2016 seemed to be his year as Martin was often fastest in practice and fastest in the races. His chances at the title looked good as he strung together two podiums until personal issues left him sitting at home during the Toronto round. Now, he has won 2 races this year, but with 0 points obtained at the third round, it makes it very difficult to win a championship in this short 250 East Coast season. Davalos sits 30 points behind the leader coming into Vegas so it is mathematically impossible for him to win the championship but a podium position could happen. Martin will want to win in Vegas, for himself, and for his team. Davalos will be lighting fast in Sin City this weekend.
