JEREMY MARTIN
This season, Jeremy Martin has stayed true to his reputation of a very quick yet inconsistent supercross racer. Through the past few years, we have seen Martin set some of the quickest lap times during practice and qualifying sessions but fall short during the races even missing a pair of main
events last season. Not all of it has been on him as he has suffered from bike problems and unfortunate crashes but that doesn’t mean his supercross career has been all that bad. He has been held to the expectations of a title contender the past few seasons and has backed that up by going out and winning some of the gnarliest races of the year in St. Louis and Daytona. He certainly has had the speed to win but between bad starts and some mid race hiccups, he hasn’t been able to be right in the thick of the title chase. With this year’s title likely out of his grasp, don’t be surprised to see him play spoiler and go all out in the 250 East main event and East/West shootout this weekend in Las Vegas.
