It was a hard fought top ten for Seely this weekend at the final round of the Monster Energy Supercross Championship as he rounded out the opening lap in 16th position. The first half of the main event went slow for Cole as he was battling hard to be inside the top 15. By the halfway point of this shortened main event Cole found his groove and took advantage of downed riders to crawl
himself to 9th, passing Marvin Musquin for 6th in the series point standings. Seely was forced to the mechanics area on lap two of his heat race to grab a new set of goggles, instantly forcing him to the semis. Cole made a wise choice to finish out the heat race even though qualifying was near impossible. This helped the HRC rider adapt to the slick conditions of the track and prepare for the Semi. Rounding out 5th off of the start in the Semi, Cole was in the final transfer position. A hectic race was on and Seely probably cant believe he stayed out of the LCQ after going down in the whoops with two laps remaining in the semi. Cole is now going to prepare for the Pro Motocross Nationals. Last year Cole got injured at the very first race and round 1 at Hangtown. Lets hope that the #14 can leave the first round unscathed.
