>> The #559 of Dylan Merriam has made it onto the screen a lot lately since making his first main event at round 4 in Daytona. Since making his first main of event of his career he has ap- peared on race day live and has been talked about by broad- casters almost every weekend. Merriam made the main event in Indianapolis a week after Daytona and finished inside of the top 15. Sadly Dylan couldn’t keep his main event streak going after a rough weekend at round 6 in Detroit. The TPJ Fly racing rider of Merriam showed great signs of speed this weekend in St. Louis and was able to make it to the main event directly through his heat race. The heat started with a 5th place start for Dylan and it ended with a heart fought battle to the finish. The privateer got a 6th place start in the main event but found himself quickly drop- ping positions. A problem on lap two put Dylan well outside of the top 10 from then on it was an uphill battle. There is rumors about the #559 possibly riding in the 450 class as the series heads back to the West Coast Series. The 450 class is absolutely stacked but Dylan’s size looks like it might fit the 450 machine better than a 250. Also by the sounds of things Dylan will be racing outdoors. Looking forward to a fresh face in the motocross scene.
