Tyler opted out of the rest of the 250 B Limited class which left him more energy to concentrate on the 250 B and Open B classes. He steadily improved throughout the next couple days in the 250 B class, finishing fourth in moto 2 and rounding out the podium in moto 3. His starts were on point and he pulled the holeshot in both motos, but the blistering pace of Falk and Bailey was just a little
too much for the Yamaha rider. Rosa rode smart and consistent races and showed superb starting technique and first corner aggression which put him in great positions from the get go. He ended up finishing fourth overall in the 250 B class, easily one of the deepest and most competitive classes at the event. The Open B class only got better for Tyler, pulling another fantastic start and reeling in Christopher Fortier to take the lead halfway through the race. He would go on to win the second moto by a healthy gap of over two seconds and would run in second place for the entirety of the third moto to finish first overall and take home the title. Tyler Rosa is defi- nitely one to watch throughout the Amateur Nationals this year and heading towards the famed Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, he has the skills to surprise a lot of people in the B class.
