Tyler Rosa put in a solid string of results at the california classic, shining the brightest in the Open
B class where he finished first overall. He started off his weekend with a fifth place finish in the 250
B Limited class after battling back from a dreadful twenty-fourth place starting position. The first moto of the 250 B class saw Tyler start right around the top ten and hold his place for the entirety of the race. He was caught out on the last lap by a charging Jordan Bailey, but he rode a mistake free race with some of the most consistent lap times of the entire field - some- thing to build off of going into the last two days of the event. He got off to his best start of Friday’s racing in the Open B class and fully took advantage of his position from the get go. He worked his way around Corbin Hayes and Christopher Fortier to slot into second position after just one lap. From that point forward, he slowly ate away at a 2.5 second gap that Tanner Basso had built up, turning the fastest lap of the race on the penultimate lap, but he ran out of time before the checkered flag and had to settle for second place.
