In moto 3, Jo got together with Max Miller early in the moto and Jo’s shift lever got bent to
the point where he couldn’t shift for the entire race. Jo would finish 14th in that moto for a 5th overall. Shimoda then lined up on his supermini machien against the big bikes in the Schoolboy class and he knew it was going to be tough. Jo put his head down and put in some solid finishes with a 7th, 6th, and 6th, in the three motos respectively. He would take home a very impressive 6th overall against the big bikes. Jo had a very good weekend at the California Classic with a championship in Supermini 1, 5th in Supermini 2 and 6th in Schoolboy. Look for Jo to be contending for the win again at the next race.
