DEVIN RYAN
You may not know the name “Devin Ryan”, but I bet you can relate to his story. Lap after lap at Salinas Arenacross was a wild ride, especially with the larger-than-amateur day whoops and the unexpected all-day rain... and all day mud, LOTS of mud. But even with the less than ideal (and unheard of) conditions for any round of AMSOIL Arenacross thus far, Devin, like so many others, rode from the heart in an effort to land in that top 30 ranking in order to claim a spot in the night
show. Practice concluded and for the very first time in his career, Devin found himself as a card-carrying member of the AX Lites elite with a ticket to the big dance. He qualified in 15th for the AX Lites class, finished 5th in his heat which bumped him right to the Main Event, no LCQ required, and would ultimately finish the night in 15th overall. There’s a first time for everything – the first time AMSOIL Arenacross paid a visit to Salinas, CA, the first time for an outdoor Arenacross, the first time for a mudder Arenacross, and the first time Devin qualified in the AX lites class. We never forget that first time feeling.
