Preparing to wreak havoc on the Novice division, Lee had an agenda of taking as many number
one plates home as possible; hopefully filling the mantle at his home in Laguna Beach, california.
First on the memo was 250 C, where a disheartening opening moto DNF left the young KTM pilot in disgust. Rather than sulking on the sorrows of dashed title dreams, Lee chose to rebound and take an impressive second moto win, finishing an exceptional nine seconds in front of runner up, Luke Willingham. The third moto saw Lee overcome a mediocre start of tenth place, and charge to fourth by moto’s end. He would take seventh overall by the class completion.
