Facing competitors in his respective age bracket was a task that Lee looked forward to, and a chance he was able to take full control of in the 250 c Jr. (12-16) age group. The maturity of the c class competitor was displayed throughout the series of motos, as consistent 2-2-2 finishes
would garner him a championship and piece of hardware to bring home.
The 250 C limited division provided an opportunity for Max to silence all critics who claimed he was at an advantage with the factory services he had at his disposal. He was more than confident that he could compete with anyone on a bike right off the showroom floor, and that’s exactly what he did. Battling with riders such as Brayden Lessler, Luke Willingham, and Dustin Mc- manus, he withstood the best effort from all his major competitors, and came away with outstanding 1-1-2 moto scores. With his success at the California Classic, Lee looks to continue to his early season momentum at the remaining races that lay ahead.
