The young Kade Johnson raced a whopping five classes at the california classic at Pala. He raced the 65 (7-9) classes, 65 Open (7-11), 50 (7-8) limited and 50 open (6-8). Quite the workload but Johnson was more than ready to give it his best in every moto. He is still getting his feet wet in the 65 classes but he managed to grab two top five overalls, a fourth in the (7-9) limited and a fifth
in the (7-9). He stayed very consistent throughout all six of those motos but his best single performance came from moto two of the limited class. He came around lap one buried in 22nd place but he surged forward the entire moto for a big time fifth place finish. It was a valiant ride from the kid out of Idaho, as he got stronger as the moto went on. The 65 Open (7-11) did not go as well for Kade but he was in it for the experience against the older competitors like DiFrancesco and LeBlanc. He would still manage to grab a tenth overall that is very impressive as he was one of the younger ones in the class.
