>> It wasn’t four months ago that Tyler Bowers showed up for the opening race at Anaheim on a privateer effort. Bowers has amazing talent, a lot of people seem to write him off, but you don’t win four Arenacross titles and battle for 250 Supercross Champion- ships on luck. Now being blessed with the opportunity to ll in on the injured Josh Grant’s Factory Kawasaki 450 Tyler nished a career best sixth in Seattle! His day started where it nished. Given only one qualifying session due to the buckets upon buckets of rain
that dumped on Seattle all week Tyler went out onto the treacherous mud rutted track
and quali ed in sixth. Starting his Heat Race in seventh he steadily climbed his was up into second place. He looked poised to hold onto his position, but Broc Tickle would take the spot at the end of the race leaving him third. A sixth place nish in the Main Event in Seattle would not come easy for Bowers. Not only was the track insane, but he started the race in fourteenth. He battled riders such as Craig, Peick, and Stewart in he early laps of the race and was up to eighth by the halfway point of the race. On the nal lap of the race he was in a head to head battle with Cooper Webb all the way until the end. While he wasn’t able to pass Cooper he did manage to get past Chad Reed in the nal turn for his best career 450 nish!
