>> Who’s ready for a true fire works spectacle in the form of motocross rac- ing? Look no further, than Labor Day weekend, at the WWMXGP, where two titans are clashing, and a true battle royale is about to ensue. The fireworks would begin the moment Glenn Coldenhoff stepped foot on the grounds, as his swagger contained a little bit of bounce to his step once he mounted the motorcycle. Riding out of the tent, he knew everything was syncing well, and it wasn’t just his motor firing on all cylinders. The bike catapulted out of the hole, the tires sinking in the luscious chocolate down the start straight. Manualing through each particular roller section, he was trying to stay as light on the
rear wheel as he could. The front wheel, at times, was no more than a mere few inches off the crown, and he was balancing as if the bike were on a solid beam. It was working, catching Max Anstie bit by bit, but never quite making the deal complete. He would hold on, hitting the finish line with a large gasp
of breath through the diaphragm, exhaling upon landing, staying in seventh. Coming into the line for moto two, he knew the task at hand in order to secure a top ten overall. Fighting fiercely with the competition, his hands were becom- ing a tad fatigued, as he was twisting the grip clear off the handlebar. Peg- ging the 450 down the straightaways, there was nothing else he could do, but continue to look ahead and rally. His hopping over the dragon’s back was im- mense, shifting and flying, all the while narrowly missing the crest and soaring down the other side. He would continue to do this, landing in a final residing spot of tenth, averaging a very applaud worthy score of eighth overall.
