>> Top of the morning to all, the sound of crisp 250f’s, waking all in the tents and surrounding semi’s. It was time to go, the race had finally arrived, and Hunter Law- rence couldn’t have been more excited to show what he was made of against the world’s top talent. The pace in practice was frantic, as a battle of the ego’s was raring, to see who could chip away at the lowest mark. He remained stout as ever, puffing his chest with his final outcome, letting the competition know it was his time. The gate fell for the first moto, and the sea of riders would crash into the multiple optioned corners, rolling through the berms a gear tall, his glutes were riding the edges of the gripper seat. Doing all he could with his core to remain upright, the body was taking a beating with the outrageous pounding of the motorcycle. His efforts would be replenished with a satisfying third place moto. For the upcoming round,
the umbrella was overtop the visor, blocking the UV rays from heating up his tem- perature. The rear-end of the chassis was dancing from side to side, a fish tail effect, battling the likes of Jeremy Seewer and Thomas Covington. It was all he could do to stay on two-wheels, the way he was frantically pushing, but the crowd was loving it. Bobbing his head in agreement, he was truly on rails around this course. I’m not sure if you could’ve wrote a better script for this outcome, another episode lodged, and a second place finish, would accumulate to a second place overall.
