Hundreds of years ago, the idea of social ranks had you placed, in particular positions in society, prior to even being born. The em- peror, or commander, was in charge of all things in regards to a particular state or specified boundary. Next up, the king and queen; they had the ability to rule a tribe, and could still stand their ground above the majority of a population. And then we had the Prince; a ruler just a notch below the aforementioned two, and had the ability to rise through the ranks, with each passing year, based on experi- ence, opportunity, and circumstances. Enter Chase Prince, a young, Tennessee Volunteer, who’s been patiently waiting his time to take hold of amateur motocross. Slowly creeping into higher positions at every national he attends, each place of battle allows him to display intriguing tactics, and what he’s been planning in the dormant months of little competition. It would all come to a head at the 2017 Winter Olympics, as the first moto of competition in the 85cc (12-13) Limited Class, saw Marcello Leodorico get out to an early lead. Prince, with his number 37 KTM, prepared to charge ahead on his horseback, the throttle acting as a sword in his right hand, and the left holding the shield. Leodorico, never rattled by thought of someone with such hierarchy behind, continued to blitz forward into
