Thunder Valley handed a lot of riders with a good results and bad results, Musquin came away with one of each. Qualifying was average for the Frenchman and he was 9th fastest on the day. Marvin was up in the top 10 early in moto one but crashed and dropped all the way back to 30th with a 2:40 second lap compared to his average 2:15. Marvin eventually dropped out of the race and his mechanic Frank Latham was quick to getting his machine back to race shape. The #25 of Musquin pulled another top ten start and was running in 8th place early. Ryan Dungey made his way past Musquin with 13 minutes +2 laps remaining and it lit a fuse in Marvin as he ended up picking up
the pace and matching the defending champs speed. Musquin would make his way around Barcia and Canard in the late stages to secure his first top 5 of the year. This is Marvins first season racing outdoors aboard the 450 machine and he is going through an adapting period. Expect the Factory Redbull KTM rider to get a few podiums his rookie season.
