Colt Nichols has done a lot of searching before landing his ride on the Rock River Yamaha team. He has travelled far to race dirt bikes and has taken advantage of many opportunities, including trips to Costa Rica with fan favourite Nick Wey. Nichols has even won a MX1 Championship there in 2014 aboard a Pasion MX Kawasaki. In 2015 Colt was graced with a ride with good equipment to contend in the AMA circuit with Crossland racing honda in the 250 class. Coming into this year Nichols was left without a ride until the Rock River team took him aboard just before the season started. Colt delivered in supercross and even scored his first ever career podium. Outdoors haven’t gone the greatest so far for Colt but the team has to be happy with his never give up attitude and his drive to continue to improve.
