Big Al has been accomplishing the unthinkable lately and proving that hard work and dedication is all you need to make it to the top. The older Martin brother trains alongside the cream of the crop and it’s easy to see in his riding. He has now solidified himself as a contender for the win week in and week out. Alex has
shown a steady improvement over his 8 years of racing and is continuing to get even better. This unusual steady improvement has only been seen in riders like Andrew Short and Weston Peick. By the looks of things, Alex could soon surpass these great riders and add his name to the list of champions in American motocross. Alex and his brother have been pushing each other more and more and using that to take the insane pace to an even higher level. The other Yamaha riders work along side of these brothers as well and it shows every time the gate drops. Alex now looks to lead the Blue Cru and is showing he is able every week. He is no doubt a favorite for wins but due to a mechanical failure, is a little behind in championship points. Look for Alex to focus on finishing consistent motos for the rest of the season near the front of the pack.
