A solid Southwestern United States competitor, Rimrock, Arizona’s Cole Martinez has been steadily pro- gressing up the leaderboard in the 2016 outdoor season. A solid prospect throughout his amateur career, if you had the chance to attend any amateur national in the mid to late 2000’s, you surely heard his name
over the intercom system and amongst the top of the results sheet. Top ten after top ten, although never truly domi- nating; he was a force to be reckon with, and a shoe-in for solid results, catching the eye of both competitors and sponsors alike. Coming into RedBud, Martinez’ all or nothing style looks to be given a bit of leeway in the deep soil of Buchanan, Michigan, as the throttle will need to be in full tilt in order to propel to the front.
