Another disappointing weekend for Star Racing Yamaha rider Aaron Plessinger as he has the speed to be upfront but has seemed to be off pace this weekend at the Red Bud Pro National.
AP23 started upfront early in moto one and was actually in 4th place behind front runners Savatgy, Webb and A Mart but faded back to 10th by the finish. Moto 2 was under way and the fans where roaring as the gate was set to drop, Aaron got tangled up with some riders down the start stretch and went for a big flip over the handle bars leaving him in last place. It was time for a huge charge for Plessinger as he laced through the traffic at Red Bud and worked his way all the way to 11th and just narrowly finished outside of the top 10 for the overall. It will be back to the drawing board this week for the Plessinger camp.
