After his best performance of the season a week ago at round 5, Smith had big plans for Red Bud. It was a weekend to forget about for the #39 as he finished a disappointing 36th overall with 33-33 moto scores. After the first lap of the opening moto of the weekend, Jordon was just inside of the top 20 and charging forward. With only 10 minutes into the race we seen the Geico Honda rider pushed back to 35th. It was time to put his head down and charge back towards the top 20 where he would atleast score points. There was many times Smith was close to getting into the points but he would make a mistake and drop back again and again, the story for moto 2 doesn’t change much except Smith would eventually pull off in the second race and try to regroup for round 7.
