The Red Bull KTM tent is currently only being used by the Frenchman Marvin Musquin. It’s all up
to him to hold down the fort until Dean Wilson returns in the coming weeks. Musquin has done a fine job for the team so far in his rookie 450 season. He had a shaky start at the first two rounds with some mediocre results but since then he has been near the front for most of the motos. He
has finished strong inside the top five in all but two motos since those first two rounds and those blemishes were due to first lap crashes. And in one of those motos where he went down in the first turn, he charged all the way back up to finish seventh only getting stronger as the hot, humid Muddy Creek moto went on. If he hadn’t proven already, that moto solidified that he is easily a top three rider with a solid start. However, those starts haven’t been easy for him to get this season. The one moto he had a great start he finished with a season best third. So if he can nail a pair of starts this weekend at Red Bud, you should be seeing him battling for podium positions all day long.
