It was almost if Tomac flipped the switch when the pressure was on, although a rather forgetful start re- ally dimished his chances. Many would shy away, crumbling in the light of adversity, but the number 3 displayed the grit of what many knew he had, and began to climb throughout the event. Soaring on every obstacle he could, the number 3 would disregard the fishtails the sands would provide, all the while keep- ing the Monster Energy Kawasaki pinned to the hilt. With a cupid shuffle of positions occurring with the oh so special “joker lane”, it pushed Tomac from the lead back to third, and his biggest competitor just behind. Dungey would make the move with a straightaway to go, however, the point totals would allow for Tomac to still claim victory, by just a mere point. Clueless, the smell of cash had never been sweeter, as he was handed the pristine suitcase of a cool “Hundred G’s” cashing out for the Vegas win.
