CAMERON MCADOO
2016 has been a stunning year for Motoconcepts’ Cameron McAdoo. He was one of the only riders capable
of matching Austin Forkner’s pace throughout the spring nationals, just barely coming up short to the Monster Energy Team Green superstar on multiple occasions. McAdoo earned 2nd overall finishes in multiple classes at the JS7 Freestone Championships as well as the Daytona RCSX. He battled tooth and nail with Forkner before Austin moved up to the pro ranks, therefore making him one of the pre-race favorites coming into Loretta Lynn’s
Ranch this year. Unfortunately, McAdoo suffered a gnarly injury at Club MX during preparation for the battle at the Ranch, forcing him to compete in the biggest race of the year with nagging injuries. Despite his fractured humerus and broken ribs, McAdoo lined up on the gate at Loretta Lynn’s and showed the speed that he had put on display earlier in the year, physio tape under his jersey to help dull the pain from his injuries. He proved his grit and determination throughout the grueling week of racing, coming away with a 3rd overall in 250 A and a 4th overall in Open Pro Sport. The Iowa native has had time to lick his wounds and heal up after some time off following Loretta’s, and he will be coming into Monster Cup on his brand new Motoconcepts Honda looking to do some damage and secure himself as a number one contender going into the 2017 season.
