AIDEN TIJERO
Aiden Tiejro is one of the few amateur riders that was lucky enough to represent the USA in the FIM JR. World Championship. In what is essentially the amateur Motocross of Nations, Tijero was able to win the gold medal in the 65cc class which contributed to an overall victory for Team USA. He won the AMA Youth Rider of the Year award in 2013 as well as a Loretta Lynn’s title, but bad luck and injuries in 2014
and 2015 prohibited him from putting up the same results that he did in 2013. The young Californian has fought his way back to the top of his class and has consistently battled for podiums throughout the 2016 season. He scored a top 5 at
the JS7 Freestone Championship in the Supermini 2 class, a 3rd overall at the Cal Classic in the same class, and capped off a successful year at the Ranch with a 3rd overall in Supermini 2 as well. It’s been a long road back to consistent podium finishes
for Tijero, but he has done so with nothing but pure will and determination. The Orange Brigade rider will be looking to continue his consistent run of podium finishes on the biggest amateur stage at the Monster Energy Cup as he battles against the best
Supermini riders from around the country.
