>> It has been a hard couple years for the rider out of Venezuela but things aren’t going to terrible for him in 2018. Rodriguez has only failed to race one main event this year and that was at Daytona. At round 6 in Indianapolis Anthony looked to be riding very well but a few mistakes costed him from a season best nish.
It was an up and down night for Anthony in Minneapolis as his starts where not great but his riding was better then usual. In race one the #56 started in 13th but Anthony didn’t
let that deter him and he was into 8th by the end of the rst lap. Anthony made two more passes to nish in 6th. The Rocky Mountain ATV / MC WPS KTM backed rider of Rodri- guez was nearly last place after the rst lap in main event #2. The Venezuelan worked his butt off to make his way towards the top ten but just fell shy and nished up in 11th. Finally in the third main event Rodriguez got off to a top 5 start and was even in 2nd at one point on the rst lap. He was pushed back by title contenders Osborne and Smith, leaving A-Rod in 4th. 10 minutes remained and Rodriguez was continually getting pushed further back in the eld by the likes of Cantrell and Hartranft. At one point Anthony was back in 8th but with a little help from riders falling and his never quit attitude he was able to get back to 6th to give him 5th overall. A-Rods previously best result this year is an 11th. I would say Minneapolis is one Anthony wont forget anytime soon.
