SEAN CANTRELL
As mentioned in his RCSX coverage, so far in 2016 Sean Cantrell has fluidly transitioned into the A class on his TLD/RedBull KTM. With a podium in 250 A and a top 5 finish in the Open Pro Sport class, Cantrell had a successful time in Florida, continuing to display raw talent. Before the Daytona event, Sean had posted even more impressive finishes including
a win in the Arenacross East lites main event in Birmingham, Alabama. More importantly, he snatched some extremely valuable Road to Supercross points with the victory. That being said, Cantrell may be looking to make the jump into the professional ranks this year or is at least pondering the idea. Obviously with a pace beyond adequate, though, the KTM rider should be looking forward to the remainder of his amateur career before lining up with the little-big boys. Carrying all these good vibrations westward into Texas, Cantrell’s plans remain focused on the current progress. If said momentum were to continue, there is no end in sight for the aspiring #37; with the James Stewart Spring Championship just being the next destination.
