Jalek Swoll attacked the Freestone County Raceway on both supermini and 125 machine’s, so in the word’s of Fetty Wap, he can be considered “2-stroke shawty.”
Impressive to say the least, as the transition from minibike to full-size can be a daunting task. A little more legroom can be a tad bit intimidating once you’re balancing on the tiptoes, but Jalek Swoll would have none of it and remained poised for every gate drop.
Super Mini 1 saw the Husqvarna rider win his opening division and place fifth in moto number two, taking fifth overall. This class was one of his toughest, as he not only had to contend with the riders of his respective age division, but the stars in the talent filled Mini Sr.’s below him (such as Stilez Robertson).
The big brother of Super Mini 1, (Super Mini 2), saw Jalek again take a division win. As the pin fell for the run- off, the top four consisting of Kobusch, Swoll, Jo Shimoda, and Stilez Robertson all dove below the 2:10 mark by lap 3.; with Swoll and Shimoda in the middle of the Kawasaki sandwich on lap 5, the checkered flag would fly, resulting in Kobusch first and Swoll second, leaving Jalek with second overall.
Time to get “SWOLL” boy and show off those guns! It’s game time with the big dogs, as Jalek would line up in both 125 and Schoolboy 1 (12-16) divisions. Ditching the bench press max and shooting for the best laptimes instead, Swoll managed to complete the task at hand. Both classes saw him finish second to Pierce Brown in moto number one, followed by a win in moto two over Brock Papi; the end result, two championships, and two more plaques to mount on the wall.
