TY MASTERPOOL
Everyone has their own reason why they race the sport of motocross. Some race for the fun, some race because it runs in the family, some race for the fame and fortune and some race to pursue a lifelong dream of being a professional champion. But Ty Masterpool has his own unique reason. He races for his
late older brother Jesse. Ty has been training from a very young age following in his two older brothers Jake and Jesse’s footsteps. He has been putting in work at his fathers 956 training facility in Texas and it has paid off over the years. Ty already has a plethora of cham- pionships to his name in the 65 classes like Jesse did including one at the granddaddy of all amateur nationals Loretta Lynns. He has been one of the most consistent riders in the 65 and now since 2015, the 85 classes. You will rarely see Ty outside of the top 3 overall positions as he is always putting himself in good position battling for wins. 2016 will mark his second year full time on 85s and he is already off to a fast start. He grabbed a 2nd place overall at the Daytona RCSX in the Mini Sr 2 (12-14) class and also managed an impressive 6th in his first ever race in a STACKED Supermini 12-15. Expect Ty to only improve on those finishes over the course of the year and don’t be surprised if you see him grab his fair share of titles along the way.
