Justin Brusseau had a lot of success at the Spring Championships at Freestone. Justin
only rode two classes but he put everything he had into the 4 motos when it came time
to race. He was much faster than everyone else in his class and was ready to prove it. When He lined up for the first moto of Vet 30+ Sportsman, Brusseau was confident in his speed, and ready to win. When the gate dropped, the #359 Honda got off to a great start and was able to come around the first lap in 2nd place, only four seconds down from the leader. Justin focused on the laps and was able to cut the lead down to a second by the end of lap two. He charged hard and was able to make the pass on Dangler for the lead, the rest was history. In moto two, Justin did not get as good of
a start, but was still able to come into lap two in a close 3rd place. He struggled some in lap two but was able to bounce back and lay down some fast laps. By lap four, he had made his way into 2nd place and was able to close on the leader, but it was too late. Justin finished a respectable 2nd overall. Justin lined up for the Vet 35+ class ad was ready to redeem himself. In moto one, Justin got an excellent start, and made quick work of the other riders. He was in the lead by lap 2 and won with an impressive 7 second lead. In the second moto, he was able to finally grab a much needed holeshot. He was able to maintain the lead even after a hard push by second place on lap three. Justin went 1-1 in Vet 35+ and was able to grab the championship.
