KATIE BENSON
Katie Benson started riding and racing when she was just 4 years old. Having grown up around racing and a family that rides, it was bred into her to get on a motorcycle. When she first started racing, Katie’s competitiveness was evident right away as her main goal
was to be faster than her sister. The Benson family hails from Delmar, Delaware and they have been traveling the country racing motocross for many years. Her sister, Shelby is also fast and together they can push each other to be better. Katie is only 13 years old and already has a very impressive 10 national championships in her 9 years of racing. She has impressive statistics and equally as impressive speed and will only get faster from here on out. A few weeks ago in Daytona, Katie impressed many by finishing 11th among the boys in 85 (9-12). She dominated the Girls (9-13) class in Daytona and is ready to do it again at Freestone. Katie has what it takes to be the best, she is surrounded
by good people with much support and should have no problem chasing her dreams. She has already proved herself
among the boys and will definitely make an impact in both men’s and women’s motocross for years to come.
