Kyle started off his week in Texas well. He liked the track a lot and was ready to get on the line and do some racing. Kyle raced two classes, Vet 30+ and Junior 25+. Kyle knew the younger class would be difficult but he was up for the challenge. In the first moto of Vet
30+, Dangler got off to a great start and was able to put down clean laps. Unfortunately on lap 3, Kyle was caught by his competitor, Brusseau, and had to settle for 2nd place when the checkers flew. Kyle lined up on the gate for the 25+ class and knew this one was going to be tougher. Kyle had a decent start in 8th and was able to hold on to that position to the end. In the second moto of 25+, a similar story would reign true only this time, Kyle was a able to better himself one position and finished with a 7th overall. It came time for the second moto of 30+ and Kyle was worried that arm pump might play a factor as it was one of the last motos on Friday afternoon. He put his head down, got off to a great start and put in the fastest lap of the field right away. He was able to stay loose and cruised to victory. Hats off to Mr. Dangler and receiving his first national championship. What made it even sweeter? His young daughter Emma congratulating him on the accomplishment.
