The 450 privateer is keeping sharp on his heals making the his 8th main event in a row this season. Schmidt will be running the number 79 this season on his priva- teer Suzuki... He is sitting 24th in the series after nine rounds. Schmidt has shown the speed to break a top 15 result but just has not had the luck come to him in the main events.
