Great ride for the privateer Suzuki rider as he managed to claim his best finish of the year in 16th. Schmidt has a great night as he qualified out of his Semi to the main event. The first turn this weekend in Toronto was treacherous but luckily the #79 rounded out the first turn in 10th and was able to put in 20 solid laps. Schmidt just barely missed his first top 15 finish and will be looking to keep the ball rolling at round 11 in Detroit.
