ARNAUD TONUS
Arnaud Tonus is here in the U.S. to take on the world’s best in Supercross for the second year.
Unfortunately last year, Arnaud’s season was cut short as he was only able to complete 3 Main
Events. Fortunately for Tonus, he has everything lined up this year to have a successful Supercross season. He now has much needed Supercross experience, and knows what it takes to be the best. The start of Arnaud Tonus’ 2016 250 East Coast season unfortunately reflected his 2015 season, but now it seems to have taken a turn for the better. Arnaud has worked very hard in the off season and is eager to improve his results. The amount of pressure that a team like Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki puts on a rider is sometimes hard to handle but Arnaud seems to be rising to the task. In the last couple weeks in qualifying, Tonus has the speed but when the gate drops for the night show, bad starts and bad luck have cost him the results he is looking for. Although the finishes have not been up to par, he is improving and it looks as though he is on track to break into the top 5 soon. The Swiss rider definitely has the speed and style, he just needs to get a good start and keep it on 2 wheels for 15 laps.
