MALCOLM STEWART
Malcolm Stewart has become one of the more enticing racers in the 250 class. He didn’t have the factory ride or the speed that his big brother did coming out of the amateur ranks but that has only made him work harder. His first few years as a pro were riddled with
inconsistency and it seemed as if he would never reach the elite level of race win contender.
Some thought his light hearted and funny personality was not going to cut it in the pros. But Malcolm dug deep, got down to work and earned a fill in ride with Troy Lee Honda in the summer of 2013. He took full advantage and earned himself a full 250 ride with the team for 2014. It was a huge step in the right direction for Malcolm as he was able to put himself on the podium for the first few times of his career. However, his stint with Troy Lee ended after that 2014 season and was left team- less until Geico Honda gave him a chance. And Malcolm sure hasn’t made them regret it. Since joining the team, he has had the best results of his career and has catapulted himself into a title contender here in 2016. After being so close to tasting victory at round two last weekend in Daytona, look for Malcolm to storm into Toronto with a fiery level intensity.
