>> The privateer Broc Shoemaker has not been able to catch a break this season, unable to make any main events so far this year. With only a few rounds left he has turned his program into high gear hoping to make the magic happen. The night of racing began with Shoemaker getting a thirteenth place start in his heat race. Only four positions away from qualifying position. When there were only two laps left of the race he worked his way up to eleventh just a couple spots short of transferring, now he had to go to the LCQ. The start went much better for the privateer Honda rider getting himself the LCQ holeshot. He quickly fell back to third after the first turn. With everyone fighting for those transfer spots he was able to pass Lafountaine but in the process he got passed by Champion leaving him in third. Transferring into the main event was the main goal for Shoemaker and now that he achieved that it was about riding a healthy race. The start of the main even was hectic leaving him back in twentieth after the first lap. He rode a pretty consistent race not moving his position too often. As Shoe- maker crossed the finish line he was still in twentieth. The first main event finish of the season making it his best so far.
