>> Coming into 2017 it was unsure if Bogle was going to have a ride for the season. Thankfully the former 250 East Coast Champion was able to link a deal with the Factory Yoshimura RCH Suzuki team just before the season started. Justin started the season off with a 12th and a 10th at the first two rounds but a practice crash mid week before round 3 left him sidelined for two weeks. When Justin returned he had hopes of putting his Suzuki machine back into the top ten, sadly the #19 had his worst race of the year and finished a disappointing 22nd place finish.
Bogle came into round 6 with the means of vengeance. When the rac- ing began in Arlington the #19 got his RCH Suzuki off to a 2nd place start and was able to get himself into the lead with two laps to go in his heat race. After a heat race win Bogle came into the main event with a load of confidence. He came out of the gate in runner up position once again behind Marvin Musquin. After running 2nd for the first three minutes of the 20 min + 1 lap main event Bogle was pushed back to third by Cooper Webb. While running inside of the top 5 Justin was put to the dirt by a block pass by Jason Anderson. A few riders made their way by the #19 but Bogle was able to regroup quick and hold onto 9th for his best finish of the year. The most common quote in motocross is “your only as good as your last race”. That being said confidence goes a long way and after this weekend Justin will be going into round 7 with a load of if, top 5’s are well within reach.
