>> The movement of the series schedule has been a point of criticism by many, throughout Feld’s involvement in the sport. Many privateers struggle just to make it from one race to another when the event’s are in the same time zone, much less halfway across the country. And for periods like these (trekking from California to Texas) both effort and finances can be crippling to a rider such as AJ Catanzaro it somehow, someway, he finds away to keep the dream alive, and make it into
the main event weekend after weekend. They say you can’t keep a good man down, and he is living proof of that; having variables of all circumstances being thrown his way, but still pressing on, is some- thing that all in the industry take notice of, even his peers. His efforts throughout the day were solidified with a position in the main event,
a place where he could make a slight sum of cash, garner points to further his standing, and a platform to impress team owner’s across the industry. His speed was immense, he just seemed to have a bit of struggle conquering this round of the tour; as this was a track where slower, at times was faster. What few ruts there were, were portions of blue grooved soil that resembled concrete, much less Supercross turf. Each lap, he pressed on, pushing his way to the front of the field, trying to put his memories of he and Josh Hansen to bed, a horrific incident occurring last weekend. Pushing the demons to the way side, he fought hard, propelling the Blue Buffalo into the top 15, getting a ruffle out of K9’s everywhere. And with his signature style, all the way to the final flag, he was whipping charismatically, letting everyone see the drain plug with his notorious style. A 14th place was something
he could build off of, and most of all, another injury free ride, willing to compete another day.
